Hajj and Umrah

🌙 Detailed Explanation
In this Hadith, Hazrat Aisha (RA) asked the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ whether women were also required to participate in Jihad, just as men were.
The Prophet ﷺ explained that for women, Hajj and Umrah are a great form of worship and struggle in the way of Allah, without fighting or combat being involved. This highlights the great importance and reward of Hajj and Umrah for women.
Hajj is not simply a journey. It is an important act of worship through which a Muslim shows obedience, patience, humility, and devotion to Allah. A pilgrim travels to the sacred places, performs Tawaf around the Kaaba, performs Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, and completes the other prescribed rituals while asking Allah for forgiveness and mercy.
The Hadith also shows that Islam gives women great opportunities to earn Allah's reward through worship. Women can gain closeness to Allah and seek His pleasure through Hajj and Umrah.
Hajj also teaches a person patience, discipline, humility, kindness toward others, and remembrance of Allah. The true benefit of Hajj is not only completing the rituals but also returning from Hajj with a stronger commitment to obey Allah and live a righteous life.
